The Barcelona Marathon has become a great event over the past few years since the City Tourist Board decided to try and rank it up there against some of the great City Marathons. A unique city and a tourist capital in its own right Barcelona attracts upwards of 8,000 runners. The people of Barcelona are sports mad and you will be cheered all the way home. The course is relatively flat and the high sided buildings on the boulevards and early start will mean it shouldn't be too warm. There are live bands and entertainment throughout the course. This is a race and a tour of the sights of the city all in one! 'Running Crazy Ltd' have put together the elements of the package that make up your weekend in this great city. In effect you book your own weekend under our guidance. Our experience of Barcelona has meant that we know the most convenient hotels, we know the cheapest and best way to transfer in from the airport, we know how to enter the race, we know where to collect your race number, we know where to eat, and we know where to party!
